We aim to promote logical thinking in our students in a systematic and heuristic method of teaching and provide them with professional knowledge, information, and language training, hoping that they can develop the ability to gather and analyze information. Through practical and creative educational activities, our students may be equipped with the ability to manage tourism. In addition, we would assist students in pursuing career opportunities or advanced studies and help them gain the related certificates. We would like to develop an international perspective and environmental protection philosophy in our students and hope they can be tourism professionals (such as tour guides or tourist team leaders) or experts on tourism management (such as travel agency) or leisure resource planning.
Our university has put much emphasis on industrial-academic cooperation in terms of tourism, especially on the promotion of hot spring tourism. In fact, we are the only university establishing a hot spring research center jointly with the Water Resources Agency, MOEA to facilitate the development of the hot spring industry. After graduation, our students may pursue careers listed as follows: 1. Experts on designing, promoting, or planning tourist activities for local governments to facilitate the development of the local cultural tourism or eco-tourism; 2. Civil servants within the category of tourism or management; 3. Consultants for tourist hotels, hot spring resorts, or travel agency, who may assist in holding regular activities, providing training, forming employment alliances, or building e-commerce promotion systems.
