Given that the global tourism is booming in the 21st century, the government has proposed making Taiwan a tourist destination. In recent years, the government has put even more emphasis on cross-strait tourism. As a result, our university set up the Department of Tourism and Management in 2005 in order to contribute to the development of Taiwan ’s tourism.
