Our curriculum planning is aimed at meeting the needs of our tourism market and following the trend of leisure resource planning. In order to integrate the above two aims, we set up a systematic curriculum on tourism planning and management. Our students shall be equipped with the knowledge on basic geography, history, and global cultures and familiarize themselves with the work done at a travel agency, such as airline ticketing, itinerary design, selling skills for travel and tourism, team leader or tour guide training, and tourism geography. In addition, the professional curriculums include Intro to Tourism, Intro to Leisure Resource, Hot Spring Resource and Tourism, Tourism Administration and Law, International Etiquette, Recreational Agriculture, Tourism Safety Management, Intro to Museums and Artifacts, and Eco-tourism, all of which will be helpful to our students in obtaining the licenses to be team leaders or tour guides. Also, such courses as Seminar on Tourism, Tourism Research Methods, Topic Discussion, Itinerary Design, and Tourist Resort Planning and Design will help develop students’ research ability. Besides, the courses, such as Tour Guide and Leader Practice or Tourism Practice, can help our students better understand tourism and make them top tourism management.
